Special Olympics is a wonderful event that shares the love and uniqueness each child has. Society tries to exclude special needs people, however, they are not suppose to be treated any different. They are humans just as we are. I enjoyed motivating and pushing people to believe they can succeed in anything they put their mind’s too.
“The only disability is a bad attitude.” -words of a Special Need Person

At my previous high school, Robinson High School we host Relay for Life Annually and do fundraiser’s to give to those and their families who fight cancer. We fundraise by creating groups of teams of students and by selling tickets the day of to do activities in stations. For example, we have food stations that have hot dogs and hamburgers. For activities we have face painting, pie to the face, etc. We set-up and as you can tell wear purple in representation. Also, we dance Zumba in our football field and afterwards walk the track with a lighted candle in memory of our loved ones.
