Who doesn’t love a nice Bonfire night with smores?!? A Pre-Convention Bonfire Night Service was held for our youth to prepare for the anointment God had ready to pour onto them. We worshipped God under the stars and got ministered to by one of my mentors…and maybe ate a lot of sugar this night (sorry mom!).
Youth Convention’s are always one of the things I look forward to in November. They are life marking and irrevocable encounters with God. This was the start of my passion to help more with the youth then I already did, it led me to grow closer with the youth and have a strong bond with them. God surely answered my prayers for them. In this picture you are not just seeing “church kids”, you’re seeing life-changers; Pastor’s, Teachers, Missionaries and such.
What you are seeing here is me praying for one of my mentors. This was my first and definitely not my last year at the FMD Young Adults Retreat, I had a more intimate moment with God where He reminded me of Who I am. I once again grew closer with the Young Adults of Hilltop, and in this picture I was praying for a women of God I aspire to be like someday.
We are crazy…but we aren’t ashamed of it. There’s no words to describe this picture but that I love our youth very dearly.
